No, the installation process remains the same as for other wiring devices.

What is the correct center distance for 2-module installations?
For MULTIGANG standard installations, the center distance is 71 mm. Belgian systems may differ, so always check the catalogue for compatibility.
How do I wire Light Now devices using automatic terminals?
Insert the stripped cable into the terminal. No special tools are required. These terminals ensure strong, lasting connections and accept different cable sections.
Can you make a light switch smart? Can I upgrade an existing Light Now traditional system to a smart Light Now system?
Yes. Add smart functions by installing connected devices and a Zigbee gateway. This allows integration with Wi-Fi and the Home + Control app without changing the entire wiring. It's like a traditional installation, just add the neutral.
What should I do if the floating frame doesn’t align properly?
The floating frame is designed to compensate for irregularities, but severe misalignment may require repositioning the box.
How do I install the optional lighting frame?
- Remove the cover plate.
- Insert the LED frame behind the plate.
- Connect to the power supply as per the wiring diagram.
- Reattach the cover plate.

Can Light Now smart controls work without batteries?
Yes. Wireless controls use energy harvesting technology, eliminating the need for batteries while maintaining reliable performance.
How do I reset a Light Now connected device to factory settings?
Procedure:
1. for connected devices: Press and hold the reset button until the LED flashes red. At this point, release the button. The reset is complete.
2. for wireless devices: press and hold the reset button until the LED turns red. Then release the button. The LED flashes green, then turns red, and then turns off.
For both devices, re-insert them into the Zigbee network and commission them using the Home + Control app.
Why is my Light Now device not connecting to Wi-Fi?
1. Check that the network name and password are correct, without spaces or special characters, and that the Wi-Fi signal frequency is 2.4 GHz and not only 5 GHz.
2. If the network is OK, disconnect the gateway's power for a few seconds.
3. If the problem persists, reset the gateway and re-pair with the Home + Control app.
How do I integrate Light Now with KNX systems?
Integration is achieved using Light Now control devices and touchscreens and various KNX-compatible DIN rail actuators. Function configuration is done using the ETS software.
What protection features are included during installation?
Supports have a protective shell to prevent damage during painting or decorating. Always keep the shell in place until finishing work is complete.
