How to install a smart electrical system
Installing a smart electrical system is simple and does not change your installation habits. Box, supports, cover plates and sockets are still the same ones that you are already familiar with.
Just replace the diverter, the shutter control, and the dimmer with the connected versions, add a module to the sockets to make them connected, the gateway to create the connection to the internet, and you're done.
Just remember that smart controls need power, so always include Phase and Neutral in the box where they are installed.
Some devices are also available in wireless version, for installation in locations not originally considered during the design.
Smart Home Gateway Activation
All connected gateway devices (art. …4500C, art. ….4510C, and art. FC80AC) have a QR code that allows access to instructions for the simple configuration of your electrical system.
Scan the QR code on the gateway and you will find:
- an installation guide with detailed instructions to configure the electrical system in a few simple steps;
- a FAQ section with answers to the most common question.
Final users can also be indipendent in configuring their Smart Home with the Home + Control app (for example, in the case of buying a house aready equipped with a smart electrical system).
