Description
Protecting people from direct and indirect contact and protecting installations from insulation faults - Protection against fire hazards due to persistent earth fault current - Can also be used to control and isolate the installation safely
Product characteristics
- A type (specific applications): dedicated lines - detects sinusoidal AC residual currents - Detects pulsating DC residual currents - It is used whenever fault currents are not sinusoidal - It is particularly suitable for the following specific applications : hobs, washing machines or materials that may produce DC fault currents, speed drives with frequency inverters, etc
- Can be supplied either by wire, prong type busbar (top side or bottom side), fork type busbar (bottom side)
- Can be equipped with Btdin auxiliaries and accessories
- Fitted with a test button, to be used frequently to check the tripping of the residual current function
- Terminals: IP20 according to IEC/EN 60529 standard
Recommendations / Restrictions
- In the absence of national regulations concerning testing frequency, BTicino recommends that the test be carried out monthly
