Btdin modular circuit breakers

DIN35 modular circuit breakers, residual current devices and electrical auxiliaries for the protection of systems

Modular protection circuit-breakers against overloads and short-circuits and control accessories

BTDIN is the range of modular Btdin is the range of modular equipment for installation on Din 35 rail, such as to satisfy every need for protection, command and management of the system. BTDIN circuit-breakers are widely used in domestic switchboards or in protection panels and cabinets for industrial or tertiary applications. They can be installed directly on DIN35 profile and are the optimal solution for protecting circuits in the event of failures due to overloads, short circuits and for the life-saving differential versions even in the case of dispersed currents.

The offer includes:

  • Thermal magnetic circuit breakers;
  • RCCBs and modules;
  • Electrical auxiliaries (motor controls, contacts and releases);
    equipment for installation on DIN35 rail, such as to meet each need of command, protection and management of the plant.

The offer consists of: circuit breakers, residual current devices and modules, electrical components (motor operators, contacts and releases).

Thermal-magnetic circuit breakers

They ensure protection against short circuits and current overloads. Available in different polarities, these switches, depending on the version, can interrupt short-circuit currents from 4.5kA up to 50kA. Their mechanical characteristics allow the installation of residual current devices, to integrate the protection against differential leakage currents, and a wide range of accessories such as motors, auxiliary and alarm contacts, and remote release devices.

Comply to the standards

Circuit breakers IMQ approved with rated breaking capacities of 4500, 6000 and 10000A rated current from 0.5 to 63A, in compliance with IEC EN60898-1. Circuit breakers with ultimate breaking capacities of 16, 25 and 50 kA and rated currents up to 125A, designed for power applications, compliant with the IEC EN60947-

Salvavita earth-leakage circuit breakers

Differential circuit breakers are available in different types of operation, A-AC-AS and type F. These differential switches guarantee maximum performance in terms of protection against direct and indirect contacts. Type F appliances are also essential in the residential sector, as all new generation appliances, in order to guarantee high performance in terms of energy efficiency, are based on frequency converters which are not fully and safely supported by Type A RCDs

Patented hooking system

The patented system of the differential modules allows the body of the differential to be rotated so as to connect mechanically to the magneto-thermal switch in a fast, simple and safe way.

Adjustable differential modules

The differential module that can be associated with circuit breakers has the patented mounting system which guarantees simpler and safer installation. Also available in an adjustable version, the residual current module makes it possible to optimize the protection according to the characteristics of the circuit. It is possible to adjust both the tripping current and the time for differential fault

More functions associated with the same circuit breaker

For each circuit breaker it is possible to combine several functions at once, such as the residual current module, the motor drive, auxiliary contacts and releases. The ability to simultaneously integrate the PROTECTION, the CONTROL, AUTOMATIC RESET and remote WARNING, allows to meet the needs of modern systems that require management by supervision software

Btdin RS, circuit breakers for residential switchboards

Circuit breakers for applications in residential switchboards available in thermal-magnetic and differential version. This range, easily identifiable by the marking on the front (small house), is made up of non-accessorised devices with contacts and releases and is not designed with plug-in terminals for use with the distribution systems and Tifast wiring system

Releases and contacts

To signal the state of the circuit-breaker or the contacts or to command the opening of the apparatus, there are auxiliary and alarm contacts and undervoltage, shunt and emergency releases, which can be easily installed next to the circuit-breakers

Salvavita Stop&go

SALVAVITA STOP&GO is the intelligent BTICINO device that solves by itself the problem of unwanted tripping of the differential switch due to storms, overvoltages and transient network disturbances. With SALVAVITA STOP&GO no more unwanted power outages. SALVAVITA STOP&GO can be combined with all BTICINO residual current circuit breakers with 2 DIN 35 modules
