Current and voltage transformers
Current and voltage transformers for measurement, precision and protection, and open transformers.
Solutions for every need
Complete range of current transformers. The first link in the measurement chain is represented by devices which adapt the signal to be measured to the levels compatible with the instruments which then carry out the measurement and return the value. They also allow to obtain a complete galvanic separation between the circuits belonging to the primary and secondary size.
The range of IME transformers is extremely rich and complete. The characteristics of these transformers, in terms of precision and ease of installation, mean that they are used in many application areas. Current transformers and voltage transformers are available.

They adjust the primary current values to the characteristics of the measurement or protection equipment, providing a proportionally reduced secondary current to the standard 5A or 1A values.
IME current transformers comply with the EN/IEC 61869-1, EN/IEC 61869-2 standards and, depending on the intended use, can be divided into:
- Measurement: Classes: 0.5-1-3 / Applications: counting and industrial measurements
- Accuracy: Classes: 0.2-0.2s-0.5s / Applications: counting and measurement with high degrees of reliability even at minimum currents (1%In with 0.2s or 0.5s classes)
- Protection: Classes: 5P5-5P10-5P15-5P20 / Applications: combination with protection relays

They adapt the primary voltage values to the characteristics of the measurement or protection equipment, providing a proportionally reduced secondary voltage to the standard 100V values (other values on request).
IME voltage transformers comply with the EN/IEC 61869-1, EN/IEC 61869-3 standards and, depending on the intended use, can be divided into:
- Measurement: Classes: 0.5-1 / Applications: Counting and industrial measurements
- Accuracy: Class: 0.2 / Applications: counting and measurement with high degrees of reliability
- Protection: Class: 3P / Applications: combination with protection relays.

They are the ideal solution for measuring currents up to 600A. They are widely used in switchboards and distribution cabinets for single-phase and three-phase current measurement.

By carrying out more passages (turns) of the cable inside the transformer it is possible to reduce the value of the primary current, keeping the secondary current values unchanged, performance.

Ideal for being installed in existing systems, they can be inserted without interrupting the primary circuit or modifying the system.
