The range of complementary equipment for DIN rails is extremely rich and includes devices for commanding, signaling and protecting electric circuits. With the range of complementary equipment Btdin it is possible to satisfy the most varied needs in the management of modern electrical systems
SPDs protect equipment both against surges caused by lightning strikes and against transient overvoltages caused by electrical drives. TYPE 1 (T1) SPDs are available, normally installable in general switchboards, TYPE 2 (T2) SPDs, usually used in secondary switchboards and switchboards and combined TYPE 1 and 2 (T1+T2) SPDs, for the protection of systems and equipment in medium/small buildings downstream of both the general switchboard and secondary ones. The range includes standard SPDs for DIN rails and SPD modules that can be associated with BTDIN switches
For protection against overcurrents, in addition to the classic circuit breakers, other modular equipment is available such as fuse holders and motor protectors. These devices guarantee maximum protection and reliability in their field of use
For applications in which residual current protection is required but cannot be achieved using the classic residual current circuit breakers or moulded-case circuit breakers, special residual current relays with separate toroids are available which, in addition to offering adequate protection, allow the regulation of both the residual currents and the intervention, operating both positive uncertainty and standard safety
The range of modular devices for the command and control of electrical systems is very rich and consists of: latching relays, monostable relays, AC1 and AC3 contactors depending on the type
