High performances and power
Megaswitch is the range of BTicino disconnectors for the industrial applications. These disconnectors, available in five sizes from 63 to 1600 A, are the ideal solution in electrical systems where circuit disconnection is required.
The range is divided into 5 types of disconnectors with different rated currents and magnitudes for installation on DIN 35 rail and fastening plates:
- MW63 disconnector for DIN35 rail In=63A;
- MW160 disconnector for DIN35 rail In=100-160A;
- MW250 disconnector in two versions: standard and with remote opening shunt trips In=160÷250A;
- MW630 disconnector in two versions as MW250 In=320÷630A;
- MW1600 disconnector that can be fitted with accessories In=800÷1600A.
- Megaswitch disconnectors conform to the CEI EN 60947-3 product standard and are AC23-A classified without downgrading up to 500 V a.c. They can be used for disconnection and control of circuits with strongly inductive loads.
A complete range for system disconnection
The range of disconnectors features a series of technical innovations and advantages which allow simple installation while respecting performance.
The Megaswitch can be connected to the power supply using either cables with cable glands or copper busbars.

Common accessories
MW250, MW630 and MW1600 disconnectors use the same electrical and connection accessories as the Megatiker circuit breaker range.
Disconnection displayed and visibility of the contact status
The contact status can always be seen from the front of the device guaranteeing effective circuit disconnection.
Open integrated block system
In the part underneath the handle Megaswitch have an open integrated locking system which can be used with padlocks (max. 3 not supplied).
