Comfort, safety, well-being and energy saving are the strong points of the BTicino smart home, present this year again at the Las Vegas CES, the largest event in the world dedicated to technology.
Leading lights were the connection and integration between the various devices, including those from other brands of the Legrand Group, particularly Netatmo, giving the consumer the chance to interact in an even simpler and more immediate way with his smart home.
The products exhibited included: Living Now digital controls, of which the voice control which integrates Amazon Alexa in its own structure stood out. Using voice controls, it can activate all the connected functions including lights, shutters and energy. Also outstanding was the new Smarther with Netatmo smart thermostat which can control and program the home temperature anywhere and at any time, optimising consumption and guaranteeing maximum comfort.
To demonstrate that anyone can have a connected home, BTicino also took the Classe 100X video internal unit to Las Vegas.
It matches modernity and innovation and, thanks to the communication between smartphone and video internal unit, can manage video internal unit calls, open the gate and manage other functions remotely with a dedicated App.
Among the Legrand Group connected solutions to live in one's home as well as possible, particularly successful was the new line of smart components for control panel – awarded the CES Innovation Award 2020 in the Sustainability, Eco-Design & Smart Energy, Tech for a Better World category – which BTicino will produce and sell under the name BTDIN with Netatmo.
“With more than 200,000 systems which already have a BTicino connected device, for us the smart home is already a reality – declares our Managing Director Franco Villani -. Our aim remains that of bringing in innovations which are “revolutionary” and useful at the same time, putting the customer and his desires for comfort, safety and well-being at the centre. The connected product philosophy allows us in fact to release new functions without having to replace the product itself”.
